Was in '97 in the league at CP after we'd won the Plate Final. To make it worse you barstewards won a real tight game IIRC.

Here's my logic:

The Championship Final in football is considered one of the most important games going because of the money at stake (i.e. by winning or not winning promotion). So, the same can apply to the Championship Grand Final in RL, making it a major trophy?

Why be embarrassed? It just adds to the number of times more that we've won at Wembley compared to certain other clubs.
