The difference in the risk level though is the money involved, Eastmond came through our system so there will have been no transfer fees involved, and I think its a pretty safe bet that he is on nowhere near the money that Myler will be after at whichever club he ends up at.
So he is a bigger risk, if a player fails (which is always a possibility) then surely its better for their to only be a small amount of money being risked on them than large amounts of money.
That said, on the pitch he is probably less of a risk simply because he is more proven - whether at this stage in his career he is worth splashing the amounts of money being mentioned on his debatable but obviously the clubs interested think its an investment worth making.
