Been checking out that popular auction website lately, and been amazed at how much old shirts go for now. E.g. the Matchwinner shirts which were probably only fetching a quid or 2 on car boots ten years ago now often go for between £20-£40! Also noticed (to give them their dues), a Hull one from about '91 go for approx £65.
Just find it astonishing the turnaround around the last few years, especially when it doesn't seem long ago that you'd see hardly any Rovers shirts around Hull except a few on matchdays, and think the club deserve a lot of credit for the surge in popularity of Rovers in general.
Am also happy personally as I finally managed to get a retro Matchwinner shirt off there.

Ah right, nightmare. Do get smaller sizes on there occassionally though so worth keeping regular look out.

This applies to all the clubs in Hull, but old shirts are often over inflated in cost due to the fact the new fans want to pretend that they went way back when.

Fair point but reckon plenty of long-term fans like them too e.g. for nostalgia. This is the case with me, the one I bought was from approx the same time I started going.

Fair enough!
I know a city fan bought about 20 shirts off ebay, cost him about £250!
