They would be yes but he has only one or two seasons left in him max and the recent run in with the tax man I can see Wire getting rid of a few players at seasons end and not replacing them there is no way they cn afford as squad like that under the cap no way.
Briers, Monaghan, King, Morley, Carvell, Higham, Westwood, Hicks, Louis and Vinny will all be on top dollar and the tax man is sniffing around.
Me thinks a bid for Morley might sway them.
Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid. Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal. Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.

Money would talk with Morley, it would be his last deal and if Wire were to free some space under the cap for Myler as suggested we could chance their arm.
Just those two signings would do us with Andrew Johns coming in mentoring Sam Tomkins and Tommy Leuluai. Johns would come over if the money was right also.
LMS won't come to us before his contract is up if he comes at all.
Wire would not let Morley go.
Johns would not leave Australia to do a few months coaching.

If we offered them a nice sum of money they would add to that a nice wage for LMS, the chance to play in front of thousands more fans, better facilities, beter history why wouldn't he want to come?

With the tax man sniffing around they may not be allowed to exersize the third year of Morleys contract and may have to get rid or him take a big pay cut.

Johns came over to play for the Dire for a nice bundle of cash and he has done one on one coaching sessions with Benji Marshall, NSW and Wallabies so if the money was right he would do it.

I've said for a while now those 2 plus a little cash would be my offer.
If Salford are as keen on Goulding as they've made out and they fancied taking Hansen on(who i reckon would go very well at Salford) maybe they'd prefare to push through a deal with Wigan over dealing with Wire.
Saying that i think they need the money more then they need players.

Just like I've been pointing out for a while that Hansen isn't any good.
