We thought that too. We made the effort and the kids had masks and tridents was planning on wearing it myself but the little un nicked it. Power ranger dude actually seemed to like it so I think he missed the point. Did turn out ike the fancy dress party that is changed at the last minute and nobody told me.

I wonder whether we'll have a mascot featuring on Sunday in Procession - one of the groups in the surreal parade will be the "largest ever gathering of local sporting mascots" http://www.manchesterprocession.com/pho ... t=featured As much as I'm not a fan of our mascot, it woudl be a shame if we were to miss out on the chance to be seen by thousands on Deansgate.

The power ranger was one of only 4 mascots who didn't turn up at the super League launch at the Trafford centre so I wouldn't hold my breath. The others were Quins, Catalan Dragon and Celtic.

Considering the distances involved with their travel I'm not surprised but the trafford centre is next door to our new grounds site and they are our major shirt sponsor.

I know we're a small club but our marketing with things like this is apalling. No wonder we are short of revenue.
