Bridge isn't going to cut it at stand-off. Grix looks like a loose forward playing at six (with loose forward, the role he was playing when signed looking like his ultimate destination). Clarke goes to half leaves us shy of another hooker, with higham nowhere near as effective as a starting hooker.
Again, I din't follow your logic.
Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

I just wanted to confirm that I think the Wolves should keep investing in their own youth and concentrate on bringing someone through the system. From what I have seen, it will start to bare fruit in the not too distant future.
I still hope Briers at least stays another year and his experience can help bring a talented youngster through the system

Briers is gone mate....no regrets, its a good move for club and player. Once he gets a CC final then thats his career complete with us.

Are you forgetting the Grand Final, surely he will want that as his final hurrah
I wonder whether people are getting premature about Myler being a top player for us for the next 12-15 years or whatever.
Remember when McAvoy came through Salford twelve years ago or so, he was touted as Britains answer to Mal Meninga (yes really) at the time. Graham Holroyd was also supposed to be a genius when he emerged at Leeds.
Myler looks like he has got potential so is worth looking at, but breaking the bank for.....? Remember the Kevin Penny hype two years back.
