At last... somebody who gets it.
As much as I dislike the way Offiah is operating... I can't fault his determination to get him where he wants. Myler will be laughing all the way to the bank... hand in hand with Martin.
If Warrington are happy to shell out all this money... then good luck... we could do with the cash.
I hope wire don't pay out all this money for Myler.....Although I believe him to be talented, I do not think he is ready to take the mantel of the wolves, if he takes the offer and we pay a big money fee for him and pay him a very large salary then Moran and the fans will expect quite a lot in return and the pressure of this on his young shoulders I feel will be detrimental to him.
His agent if he really had Mylers development and best interests at heart he would look at the whole picture of his progress in rugby league instead of just lining his own pockets.

It does to me...We only need one, we already have Bridge, Grix, and at a push Clarke too, and great kids who will come through the system in two years.

which if the fee was £400,000 would equate to 33.3k a year for 12 years or 26.5k for 15 years
It wont be $400,000. It would have been half that pal. Perhaps even less as speculated in the press...If he comes at the end of the season then I expect the fee to be around £125,000.
I think that he will come at the end of the season, salford obviously cannot do without a half for the remainder of the season and we dont have any room under the cap either.
It will work almost like a loan deal or promise. Something like Longy going to Hull from Stains.

I agree with Rubber Duckie in the sense that we do have some great kids coming through the system, in one to two years.
i was going worst case scenario and breaking it down. for the amount of service we'd get out of him it would be worth it
That will only happen if he reaches and maintains his potential. Plus you are assuming he won't get poached away from the wolves in the future by another club. Because loyalty won't come into it...if Offiah is still his agent....
