I don't recall him having one, certainly not while under Ross Brawn at Ferrari.

With the restrictions on testing mid-season in order to cut costs there's not a lot McLaren can do with the car. As Eddie Jordan said over the weekend, they'd be better off chucking it in the bin and starting again with the 2010 car, it's that bad.

he may not have had a "bad" car, certianly not to the same level as this years McLaren, I think the first couple of years at Ferrarri he was in a car that was a long way behind the leaders though.

That's because he never let things get that far. Also, any duffage went in the direction of his 'team-mate'.

His first car at Ferrari was bad to start off with, his performance at Spain in the wet masked a very average car. Of course in those days they had the benefit of in-season testing, so were better placed to sort things out.

Compromise reached, and Mosley is off (in October).

Too much money at stake, obviously.

Business as usual then. Thank goodness they've sorted it out.

Do people expect a stronger McLaren and Ferrari next year? I don't really know alot about the sport but interested to hear what the more knowledgable posters think. Also does anybdoy own and Brawn GP clothing?

Haven't Brawn only just got their merchandise out?

I'd expect McLaren to trash development on this year's car and put all their time and energy into developing for 2010. It worked well for Honda/Brawn this year, so with their resources it's hard to see them not putting it right eventually - same with Ferrari.

They've barely branded the car, let alone anything else.

With regard to Ferrari and McClaren it depends what next years 'rules' are. Ferrari won't sit on their laurels, but McClaren must be careful not to go the same way as Williams, who used to dominate.
