Last year, Catalan finished third with 34 points, Wigan in fourth with 29 points. The season before that, Bradford finished third with 33 points with Hull in fourth on 30 points.
Have Rovers got five more wins in them to finish on 33 points, I think so, the season kind of starts again now, some tough games on the way, but if we fancy our chances in the play offs, then it's these teams we need to compete with.

I'M SURE THERE IS NO CORRELATION BETWEEN THE FACT THAT THE FRONT RUNNERS FOR THE 2009 MEDIA WHINGING AWARD ARE FROM GATESHEAD AND HULL FC, FORMERLY THE B*ST*RD-TWINS OF ONE OF RUGBY LEAGUE'S LOUSIER IDEAS.

I know its been mentioned on here loads, but Hudges comments about survival, consolidation then progression really has come to fruition. I said at the start of the year that a top 6 finish is the minimum. However I really feel that we will finish in the top 4 maybe 3. Although I have put £20 on both rovers and Warrington as I feel they are gonna win the g.f they will finish the season like us, strong.

Warrington looked very strong last night against Catalan, I think they are ahead of us performance wise at present, but a win in the cup semi final might take an eye off the SL for them, and should they get to the final, we play them the following week.
Like us Warrington have a tough last ten games, which within it, they play Saints, Leeds, Huddersfield, Wigan and Rovers in an eight week block of games with Salford and Wakefield thrown into the mix.

YEah, crazy isn`t it one week you are on top of the world, then a hard challenge cup game and bang, your on a mini slump. I feel that game took more out of us then it showed. I feel that a good few weeks on the traing paddock and a bit of luck with injuries we will see a couple of good months of rugby and the sort of stuff we were doing pre warrington. fingers crossed!

Super league is close this season and with teams capable of beating anyone on their day but i'd hope on form Rovers would should win
at least three home and three away from the last ten.
