I thought Batley were lucky to win.......still fair play to them.
I thought the highlight was when we scored..........Mr Preece (Batley's No 1) had given instructions to nil us....the gobby mare.
The Batley players were crestfallen.
It tickled me when he was instructing his team mates at restarts 'no mistakes'.....and then he was the first to make one. How I laughed.
Apart from that we had nothing to cheer.
We defended with effort.......but offered nothing in attack.
It can't last much longer can it?
Playing at Fev is getting us NO shekels......so it's just stacked against us in all ways.
Ah well, onwards and downwards.....

As I am sure that you are aware, when things go against you the last thing you need is f*ckwits from other Clubs gloating!

The main worry today from today was the fact we only got near their line twice.Once after about 2 mins when China nearly scored in the corner and at the end when we did score.Batley certainly arent the best team in the league but if we cant get near the line or defend better against them then I dread to think of some scorelines in the next few weeks.
