Mixed views on Barcelona, i spent 5 nights there and although i was offered every illegal act and substance under the sun i never experienced any trouble regarding pickpockets and such like.
Talking to a few locals they say it's the Moroccans and the Italians who steal and con people like that match-box game were you bet on which box has the little ball under, some hookers don't take no for an answer and are a pain in the aris, the beer/drug sellers bother you lots but unlike the prostitutes they take no as your first answer.
A few friends of mine in separate incidents had there wallets stolen on the metro heading back from the game but i experienced nothing myself, all in all in the day the place is a great city and i would definitely go back, at night you need to have your wits about you and you need to know were to go and were not to.
Great 5 night for me but i think it should be left as a one off.

Well OK then i also spoke to a lad from Plymouth that has worked for a club giving out flyers for the past month, he also blamed the Moroccans, there only across the border don't forget

Agreed, it'll be the darkies, no Spaniards would commit crimes.
Only across the border? Well, there's the sea and another 1150km across Spain, but yes, a brisk walk.
