Ok so maybe people will think I'm being a little harsh, but for me that was one of the worst super league games I've ever seen (in terms of RL skill levels) I thought both teams were mickey poor and for us not to win the game says a lot about us IMO. It wasn't through lack of effort just through lack of anything to do with sensible rugby league. If any coach wants a video of how to throw a game away all they need to do is watch Salford today, I'm really really disappointed at what I've seen as you can tell. If either team had played someone even a quater decent today they would have had 50 stuck past them and god knows what a half decent team would have done never mind a good one!!

Anyway rant over just needed to get that off my chest!!!

on the pitch at salford.
when the snow lay round about
deep and crisp and even
brightly played the lads that night
though the frost was cruelllll
when poor swinton scored a try
we had 94urrrrrrrrrr

As an outsider and someone who didn't see the game, it seems strange that McRae would switch Ratchford to centre and break up his combination with Myler.
Also should be playing Darrell Goulding in the centres imo.

One of the worst games of Rugby League I've seen at this level for years.

Skill levels and set plays were terrible from both teams. One man rugby.

We were terrible and deserved to loose, and Salford were there own worst enemies, you should have easily beaten us!

The ref was terrible for both teams to add insult to injury.

It was just boring.

Agreed the game offered little in the way of excitement and anyone watching the game for the first time, would certainly not come back. Poor reffing - possibly the 50/50s came our way, but still not good. I don't want to be able to say the ref was bad for any reason, would much rather the ref be fair to all.

Yep you must have been watching a different game to the other 11,000 that were there yesterday.

the game seemed to last 3 hours

sadly I think Super League is leveling off at a lower level, yes games may be tighter, the league may be tighter...but the skill level is getting worse IMO

or maybe I'm just miserable because we're having an awful season for the 2nd year in a row!

Very poor game lots of handling errors by us, which cost us the game, my opinion was it was two poor teams who do not know how to cross the white line.
Please can we replace Stuart Littler he his not a super league player!

I have been saying this all season. This year is about making the transition from the National League to Super League and we couldnt make wholesale changes. However by getting rid 4 or 5 players such as the likes of Littler, Paul, Fitzpatrick etc and even replacing them with just half decent younger players with more pace we will be much stronger next year.

It's a shame you lost cos with a little bit of game plan and some well worked set pieces you could have turned Hull over comfortably last night.
