You go even further and suggest that risking one of them would lead directly to defeat. More evidence that these guys are in the squad purely as token homegrown players to make up the numbers.
Watts has been loaned out for a month and Spaven only recently back for the reserves after injury. Perhaps its your assumption that your own club win record in the last couple of season's could be on your coach's insistence in playing to many british / local players.

TBF in hindsight, the likes of Galea, Newton who were poor those weeks is because they've been playing 80mins week-in-week out.

Totally agree. It's basically about signing the best available players for the various individual quotas (i.e. academy, overseas trained, fed trained), wether they're born and bred Holderness Roaders or from Timbuktu.

Yes. That's exactly what I'm saying because our easiest game of the season will be against you (FC) at home - derby cliches or not.

Never mind, as long as he is happy wherever he is
A young 20yr old living thousands of miles away from home you'd think a bit of homesickness would be expected eh??
As for youngsters from Hull...etc - Tony (yet you send Hall out on loan), Raynor and Calderwood (Why not get rid and use Tom Briscoe and your other super fly wingers in the academy?), Thorman (yet you got rid of Thackery??), Cusack, Thackery, Dowes...etc Surely the oh so great Hull can produce three props to go along with Kingy???
Shall I continue? You've gone from criticising us using too many overseas players to using players that are just not from Hull! Its a joke! We are not breaking any rules by playing these players so whats the problem?

I was simply pointing out that Oyster Bay was talking balls.
Got no interest in who Hull FC pick, but thanks for your concern
I can quite safely say that Oyster Bay has not been "talking balls". Lovegrove arrived in Hull on July 1 2007 and was placed in a house with Ryan Tandy. After Ryan moved back to Oz Rhys lived with John Steele. I don't know which one of these two are your friends, but neither would lie about Rhys. Since arriving in the UK he has not expressed any wish to return the NRL and has had no conversations with any NRL club or indeed any other Super League Club. So if anyone is talking "balls" it is not Oyster Bay -- be very sure of your facts, I AM. Let's let this off topic subject die and if you require further FACTS, either PM me or speak to Nick.

And the fact Oyster bay is quite closely related to Rhys would make this argument/disagreement nul and void in favour of Oyster. I also know Steely wouldnt make stuff like that up so "Pig" may need a plastic surgeon to shorten that nose of his!
