sorry guys i might sound like im moaning but this is my view of it:

first of all im not blaming ganson for losing but to say he had a good game is shocking, he missed a blatent obstruction near our tryline where we were otherwise clean through, he also blew for a forward pass that was never forward and again we were clean through.

he did however make some good decisions like when kev brown picked up the gruuber kick and ruled him offside!

i thought we murdered cas in the 2nd half, created chance after chance after chance and failed to score. i thought we were alot better than cas but cas hung in their and all credit to them for that.

cas created nothing, their first try came from a defending mix up and their 2nd was an interception but the difference was they took them chances that were gifted to them.

we murdered them in the second half but we just couldnt score.

well defended cas? one way or the other, ganson was rubbish, cas were rubbish and huddersfields finishing was rubbish. all in all a rubbish game but well done cas all the same!!!

hope nobody thinks im disrespecting cas here btw, that was just my view of the game.

We didnt have the finishing required. Cannot break down a defence without a kick when we get in the opposition 20. We seemed lacklustre from the offset but perhaps this was as a result of the effort put in against Leeds last weekend. Cas wanted it more - we managed to stop them scoring (as did they did us) for the best part of the game, a right old arm wrestle. Just feel we are lacking in the attacking department and have been for some time. We dont seem to be able to come up with the goods when we get near the line, void of ideas. We did keep trying we just made far too many errors - AGAIN! That certainly needs sorting as its costing us games.

That said we were beaten on the night by a team who were better than us, wanted the win and they got it. Onwards to next week.

Ganson certainly wasn't 'rubbish'.

He allowed both sides a fair crack of the whip and let the game flow into an entertaining affair, I wouldn't be too worried Hudds fans - you'll bounce back soon enough.

I thought it was forward to be honest when I watched it live and on the slow mo at best level.

I thought we had the better of the second half and should have done better but having said that Cas defended superbly. I thought Rangi Chase was outstanding for them, and at the end of the day the better team won, we just gave ourselves too much to make up.

In a way it was like too many chiefs and not enough indians. If Fulton is going to play then Brown or Robbo has to make way. We have Hodgy who joins as a half in attack and then had Robbo, Brown and Fulton on there as well. In the end we just ran across the line time after time and when we broke through just nipped and did stupid things.

I also think we should have had Crabtree on the bench. Would Jacko have conceded that penalty that Scully did for hanging on to that man that Cas kicked 2 points from? I don't think so.

No one to blame but ourselves and our poor options. We're still dumb, we're still lacking in the halves.

thats a fair summary of the game, but i still dont think cas played well, i believe we played the better stuff, but it means nothing when we leave the game with 0 points. like i said, fair play to cas, they defended well but i feel we were better than the score shows and thats down to panicking when were on the attack and that needs sorting out

Thought Moore's pass was backward but given how we played we probably wouldn't have scored from it anyway. Someone needs to tell them that having the perfect defensive line is great when you haven't got the ball but less good when you have it. There just wasn't any depth to our attack tonight. Too often our forwards were taking the ball standing still rather than bursting from deep.

ATEOTD we just looked too flat from the off. A poor kick and an excellent line on Westerman's run and a stupid pass from Hodgson and we had lost the game before we ever got into gear.

Then when we had a break there was either no support or the wrong option was taken. Castleford scrambled well in defence but we really should have done better.

Somewhere in the dust of time rest the bones of the Galilean
He who was spat upon. He whose face was marred beyond all human likeness
Somewhere buried among the lies of the past rests the tomb of Yeshua
Of he who was made God in a world without Hope.
And when this son of Joseph is found. What then will the Church of Rome say?
Prepare yourself for the day is coming. And men will say
"Blessed are the wasted lives who perished in the flames of the holy war"

Seemed pretty much a reversal of the game at the Jungle earlier in the season when Cas had all the possession and territory for most of the game but just couldn't get over the line. Whether that was down to poor attacking play from Cas or great defence from Huddersfield depends on your allegiance.

Cas played far too conservatively in the 2nd half because they had a lead to defend and were able to remember the way they threw it away in the CC quarterfinal. As a result of the one man rugby and ultra conservative play Cas never made much yardage in their sets and left Huddersfield with territorial advantage.

Do any of you guy's think the player involved in the tackle on roughly 55 mins will be up in front of the disciplinary panel this week for use of a graple tackle?

I don't see it as a job. It is a passion and love that we all share. Neil Hudgell
