Diego Lopez or Sergio Asenjo would be much more suitable targets, I feel.

He's way better off staying at Madrid - that back four will give him opportunities to look good he won't get playing behind United's. :lol:

"bit part" = "lesser paid"

Is Lopez the Villereal keeper? I like him. Asenjo has loooked good from what I've seen too - which is limited.

Yeah, Lopez is huge. I think larger, more dominant 'keepers are better in England as they have to deal with more crosses and more physical challenges on corners etc.

Asenjo is young but every time I've seen him he's been fantastic.

Real would not sell for any amount surely, touch £100-£150m and real will fancy it.

Laporta saying Barca won't show public desire in Villa but they are interested. Liverpool cannot afford Villa and he has said he doesnt fancy a move to the PL anyways.
