Firstly I would like to thank Kosh for allowing this thread.
Im an employer consultant for Goodwin Development Trust in the city, trying to improve the working lives of local people. We can offer 3 different services, all of which are FREE.
1 - Help for people currently on JSA to find employment, either with Goodwin or with a database of clients through the Local Work Guarantee Scheme. We can offer 13 weeks of guaranteed employment, with an 80% success rate of getting a secondment with an external employer.
2 - Support for exisitng small to medium business owners. We can offer FREE advice with regards anything that you are struggling with, whether it be staffing (we can offer employees whereby we will pay the wage or offer subsidised wages) policy writing, property maintenence etc.
3 - We also offer support to people who are looking to start their own business but are unable to put their plans into practice. We can provide workshops, business plan writing and a list of contacts that will help you undetake the transition into becoming self employed.
If any of these sound interesting then do not hesitate to contact me and I will see what i can do for you
Cheers,

Seriously though, Goodwin trust are a good organisation
That was a while ago mate.
TBH, in the short time I have been at Goodwin its great to see the number of lives that have been turned around, so hopefully I can do some good in these hard times

Put a couple of these types of threads up and had a great responce from FC fans, we've managed to gain funding for a few things and although that funding stream has dried up, we may still be able to get funding for some short courses (see below)
Even if funding can not be found, as we are a charity the prices are pretty low, PM me if you need any training
Dont want to de-rail the thread but I suspect there are a few self employed people on here like myself struggling in the current climate.
Myself and The Brother both have signatures advertising our companies and thanks to the mods & co for allowing these. I know last time I mentioned my company on here I had several PM's with possibilities of work.
I'm a Courier available for Local, National & European deliveries and collections. I have large modern vans, fully insured and capable of carrying loads of upto 1400kg.
If anyone uses Sameday Couriers or works for a company that does i'd be greatful for any information you could give that may get me some extra work.
THe goodwin trust is very good. I am not mistaken they also have a hand in the Dula part of it. I am sure my wife has mentioned them when as she is a dula.
