If it is not for next season i don't think we should look at him. LMS must be our replacement for Fielden come 2011. Much depends on our ability to attract a Prop this year and who that Prop is i guess, but with the drop in quota i am not sure we should use 2 spots on Props, on top of Feka who is not counted.

As much as I'd love us to get LMS, realistically is he going to want to come to us, at the minute he's no more likely to win anything with us than he is with Quins.
In fact looking at the bigger picture, we maybe at the point whereby are only attraction to players over other clubs is the size of are crowd, we no longer are able to guarantee to players that they'll be in the playoffs or in the later rounds of the cup. Obviously this is going to hamper are recruitment of domestic players, and to some affect will it not also deter the junior players we atempt to recruit, who may look at other local clubs and join them due to there onfield success.
Wigan vs Leeds finals aggregate score.
Wigan 178 - 64 Leeds
Wigan wins - 6 Leeds wins - 0
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubblegum.
Don't you struggle. Don't you fight. Don't you worry, cause it's your turn tonight!

We have better training facilities.
We can probably offer him more money than most teams.
We are a massive club and there is a general attraction to it because of this.
We have alot of potential to be a big force once again.
Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good - sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league - Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate - the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever - Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go - Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know - FIOS

It's been rumoured for a long while that he wants to come to the UK.
LMS has to be fieldens replacement if fielden goes. His contract will be less than what hes on now no matter where he goes cos nobody else is stupid enough to pay it apart from us. I could see stu staying on a lesser contract and i for one would be happy with this if it meant we could bolster our pack with the likes of LMS playing along side him with the extra money

But he's a local quins lad, they are doing well and are obviously going to try and build there team around him in the future. I can see them offering him a contract in the coming weeks and him being more than likely to sign it.
we'll have more than most over the next couple of years, Bailey and Fielden to name just 2 were both "internationals" when we signed them. So thats at least 100k+ a year from just 1 player.
