He's going to be a cracking player.

Enjoy watching him while you can

He should be in our 17

It does seem odd that he cannot get into your team but can get into a team above you.

You guys need to stop relying on foreign talent and start trusting the lads coming through your own system. Okay, you may get a lull in performance for a season on two but you'd have a much better, home grown team which would give that sense of ownership back to the fans.

There is a lot more wrong with our club than just not using homegrown talent really. Radlinski's book is meant to give a good insight into that (not read it yet meself) The culture within the club just isn't right at the moment.

I do agree with what you say though. Bring through the younger players (you can see yourselves with Lee they are good enough) and have a small number of top class overseas players. Amongst that we need leaders for the youngsters to look up to and who will help them develop as players., in the mould of Farrell, Radlinski and more recently Barrett and Fletcher. Lockers and Bailey are the only 2 guys who seem the type of players to do this and Bailey will move on at the end of the season to accomadate younger players like Mossop.

fair point. Wigan could be such a different team / prospect if everything was structured very differently. I suppose they became the victim of the salary cap - unable to keep youth as the demand for trophies was too high now suffering from a lack of homegrown leaders and rolemodels for the current youth to aspire to.

I'm not one to moan about the salary cap because I think it is a good idea and we could have used it to our advantage but didn't

I agree that we could be a different team if we had a better structure and that's why a lot of Wigan fans want to see the back of Noble (including me) I appreciate all Brian has done for Wigan but IMO he has taken us as far as he can and its time for change, they just need to find the right guys to bring in which is easier said than done

Noble's problem is himself. He was everything about Bradford for so long that he is just not suitable for Wigan. Don't get me wrong, he was the right choice at the time but his is synonymous with the peak of Bradfords dominance therefore he will never be truly accepted as a Wigan Great.

Bradford should consider recruiting Noble back to help McNamara as it would generate the interest and rekindle some passion from those current doubters at Bradford.

Noble back to Bradford would be great for Bradford, Noble and Wigan IMO

Noble has had enough time to put a team together (ie a huge pack) to suit his tactics. Has he done it? No. Have we improved each year as a team? No.

Bye Brian

The only huge pack he has at Wigan is a large novelty box of playing cards.

Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid.
Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.
Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.
