just a mention about the work at the Keapmoat. as far as i no the pitch was damaged last year when there was american football played on it in a downpour. as you now in that kind of sport there is a lot of squad members and they were stud down the side of the pitch as well as playing on it.
as for the work on the pitch. Andy and the guys have been patching the pitch up to keep the games on and at some point work was needed to be done and the summer is the best time to do it.
with me now working at Castle Park and my main job is groundsmen i keep in touch with Andy and pick is brains from time to time. and no what a big job he as got on. so lets not bag the guys. it was just work that was needed.

No probs mate, just my little play on words, I suppose I am going to have to spell things out in future.
THE LAD'S PRAYER
Our Beer,Which Art In Barrels
Hallowed Be Thy Drink. Thy Will Be Drunk
At Home As It Is In The Pub
Forgive Us Our Daily Spillage
And Those Who Spill Against Us.
Lead Us Not Into Wine Tasting,
And Deliver Us From Alcopops.
For Ours Is The Bitter,The Ale And The Lager
Forever And Ever Barmen
