You'd be surprised.
When I was at uni I had a website devoted to Bradford City on the go, mainly as a place I could test things out I was learning on one of my modules, I put the fixture list up on it and within a week I'd been contacted by the FA's legal department requesting I removed them within 48 hours or they would commence legal action.
My site averaged about 20 hits a day, you'd think they had better things to do than stopping people publicising when matches are played, but obviously not.

There is conclusive proof why we took the action we have done today
I don't think anyone is arguing about copyright infringement, but if you're taking this stance today then by the same token Ash can't run the tipping comp as he'll be doing the same thing and listing a set of copyrighted fixtures.
I think what he means is why not put us v Fulham and Villa v Arsenal, for example, because they no them games won't take place until rearranged due to europe meaning everyone else can play instead of more teams having to wait for their second game.

Well, most stadiums get used for things other than football, especially the newer ones (such as concerts, events and the like). Sure it's a case of the clubs saying when their ground is free and the fixture monkeys go with that.
I know Goodison isn't one for them, but Eastlands is, probably why we're there when we are
