Still managed to injure our bloody closer in the process though. We had a five run lead, the siller bugger had no business swinging at any pitches. He went and turned his ankle and is now day to day on the DL (leaving us with the terrifying prospect of BJ in the closing spot). This is why AL pitchers shouldn't be fooking hitting. They're bloody clueless.

Well our starting rotation just took another hit. Casey Janssen is back on the DL with shoulder inflammation. He's being replaced by Brad Mills, who will be the 5th Rookie to be in our starting rotation this season. He's been terrible in AAA so not sure why he got the call.

You couldn't make this year up, could you, i would rather have BJ Birdie as our closer than BJ Ryan

Well it's been a right fooking day for our pitching staff. Halliday and Downs also go on the 15 day DL. Replacements to be announced tomorrow. Not sure who they'll bring up for Downs (possibly Accardo) but I'm expecting Cecil to be Doc's replacement.
