I don't want David Villa. Well, I do but only in a fantasy world.
I like our system, 4-2-3-1 works fantastically well and gets the best out of Alonso, Masch, Gerrard and Torres; why change it to add an unnecessary signing? It's the same with Tevez.
People say "well we need top back up players", but I feel some of our first team slots aren't strong enough yet, so buying £20m+ squad players just isn't required, as Keane shown. It's like having the fastest car in the world, but really crap brakes, so what you decide to do is make it even faster, yet completely ignore the areas that need investment.
Villa's the best striker in the world and it's most people's wet dream seeing him in a Liverpool shirt next to Torres, but I'm quite happy having Steven Gerrard alongside him.
As for Saviola, I don't see what he'd bring to us. He's short and pacey, he's not had a good season for God knows how long, probably the best part of 5 years. The lad had potential, but if we're signing a striker from Madrid, I'd rather it be Higuain.

Good call Robert. The lad has come on leaps and bounds at Madrid and looks a class act.
Shame the same can't be said for his compatriot Gago

Yes it really offended me and you should think twice before posting things like that in the future..
Nah seriously it hasn't bothered me whatso ever, infact I didn't know it was on here. Just the La Liga thread. Bang it back on by all means.
