i think weve proved that the season as been a success. if anyone would of said at start of season wed beat leed, brdford and warrington they would of been kidding themselves. as a outsider looking in where do we go to improve the team again. how do we get to the next level where we are on the hunt for trophies.
what positions do we need to strenghthen and what players can we attract.
richie myler .. only seen the highlights of games on youtube and what i read. has the potential to be a superstar lets enjoy him while hesplaying well. give the kid a chance hes goin to be up and down but hey hes already achieved a lot in his short career. no more bagging hey. cos at the end of the day hes playing for salford!!!

Could be tricky for the Club tbh.

We were all predicting a gradual improvement over the three years, and we maybe caught in a catch 22 situation...

We have done better than we could have hoped for so far this year, which is a great achievement but the other side of the coin is our youngsters are being sniffed around because we have brought them on so well. The club is possibly faced with losing these youngsters which imo, should under normal circumstances have been peaking next season and beyond. If this was the case we could have tied them into contracts this season without too much pressure and continued to build a team around them.

But because we have exceeded our own expectations we stand at a crossroads with both directions not being particularly appealing.

You do well and the rich clubs cherry-pick, you play poor and you lose your franchise. Contracts now will determine how well we fare next year imo. Keeping the core of the team together is paramount to it becoming successful and having to rebuild every season around the loss and new aquisition of key players is a recipe for the Championship...

I don't think we have exceeded expectation at all. I would agree if we had beaten the teams would expect to beat at home and got results against leeds and warrington. The bradford result was expected for me given how poor they are this season. We still have only won 5 SL games and we have conceeded an awful lot of points.

I cannot see us making any progress at all either. If we let our young players go we will have to replace them and this will be done with players who have had their day or aussies who aren't up to it. We will quickly become a retirement home again which is where we were before Karl Harrison took over.

Without a major rethink at board level we will be in the Championship next time round!!!!!!

To die of thirst we have no fear.
As long as we get Holts' beer!!!!
