Whitehaven - Away Halifax - Home
Ouch
Aye, its best to leave them alone in their misery.
It can be really poop being a Widnes fan at times, but at least we're not Leythers.
I hope they don't go down though. We're not that well represented on the good side if the hills as it is.
On thread drift:

Little Pepe went to nursery school one day wearing his Widnes hat. His teacher asked him why he was a Widnes fan. He said, “Because my parents are.” His teacher said, “That’s not good. What would you do if your parents were drug dealers and hookers?” He replied, “Well then I would be a Warrington fan.”
There's a Wooly over there, baggy kecks and feathered hair with a 3 star jumper half way up his back, that’s a fecking Wooly back! Oooh-to… Oooh-to-be… Oooh-to-be-a… WOOLY!

What?
I see it that - two extremely poor teams clashed at the Stobart Stadium.
And a weak / not bothered / onfocussed team got turned over at LSV.
I was pointing out that we must have been terrible to lose to a side who is getting pasted every week. Surely you must agree!
Gateshead and Toulose are certainly pencilled in for the next franchises, the amount of overseas players they are allowed.Leigh will get nowhere the players come last at that stadium, security is well over the top must cost them a fortune.2nd the catering must be losing big money the rip off prices they charge and the rent of the stadium must be massive its a wonder they have money left to pay the players.Could possibly be a donny situation developing.

I'm still cynical about the next round but with the recession I'm not sure the RFL can afford to carry too many more sham teams so we will see.

Thats 100% correct but that will never happen now.R.F.L.want to expand out of the traditional heartlands,Salford promised a new stadium in 2010,Swinton look to be up and running with theirs, unless Swinton allow Salford to share theirs.

Come on.
Yes, Liverpool. Of course you can share Old Trafford. No problem.

Catering, thankfully, is sourced out by LSV, to Event Management Catering - isn't that who you are getting at 'Fax? The rent is a fixed percentage of ticket sales, so, if the crowd goes down - (and it will!!!) so does the rent. The other side of the coin is that maintenance and upkeep at Hilton Park was crippling - at least we don't have that to shell out now. As for the players' wages - I shouldn't think they are too high, if we keep losing! However, from a Salary cap viewpoint, if the crowds are low, and we 'lose' a percentage of that in rent, we will only be able to pay up to 50% of not very much, in wages!
