Ricky Stuart would be my only choice if I was IL. So much class as a player who has played with the best and been coached by the best at club level, state of origin and international level. He is out of work as far as I know and would bring the glory days back to Wigan!
There is a place in wigan, right next to Robin Park, where legends such as Farrell, and Radlinski made their mark. the boardroom's full of trophy's, its time we won some more, All the other teams know what we mean when they hear the Wigan roar.....

Top of the list has to be Shaun Edwards with Andy Farrell second in command. Failing that a sustained effort by IL to get Justin Morgan has to be top priority for next season

Edwards won't quit his megabucks contract with Wasps and the Welsh rugby union.
I'd love to Faz back at the club in some capacity.
we need someone like lam, someone who has been at the club and knows what the winning wigan feeling feels like, someone who bleeds wigan through and through. lam or edwards for me (please come home shaun)
I'd love Faz and Edwards to come back ot the club, it must hurt them to see the club they put so much into playing ike this.
Faz and Edwards sharing teh helm, would be fantastic, only problem is, I don't think they'd take the risk of being involved, and it only getting worst. Maybe if Wane took over for a few months, withhim getting the team to show some potential in couls sell it too them..

But he's made a major turnaround in a particularly under achieving Wire side.
Any number of percieved second rate Aussie coaches could improve Wigan to be challenging for trophies, look at Brown at Huddersfield. If he can improve them to the standard he has, what could he do with a better squad of players?
You just need someone who can actually coach.
I'm not Jesus Christ, I've come to accept that now.

Wrong as usual BK
I personally credit Smith the coach we should go for at the end of the year for putting into place the structures that generated the success at Bradford.
Unofficially the most boring poster on Cherry and White.
