I think your forwrads got beat, which stopped Dobson and Cooke playing on the front foot which inturn cancelled out Galea and Newton running out wide, which is what they did very well at the Stoop.(Take a breath!)
I'm sure when your players come back you will start winning again

It is worrying that our pack is getting so dominated in recent games, our line speed for me has slowed right down and our willingness to show any enthusiasm.
Far to much one-man rugby played aswell last night.
I don't see it as a job. It is a passion and love that we all share. Neil Hudgell

We were poor last night due to the pack been ineffective for the 2nd week running against a small Quins outfit. The kicking game been poor especially compared to the Quins, and giving away to many stupid penalties and piggy backing the opposition up the field.....
All in all BACK TO BASICS!

Does he? Last night was the same situation as Castleford away last season, when Fitzhenry was at full back and Gommersall on the wing, both players being played out of position.

We look very tired at the minute, players missing and people playing out of position, for me last night wasn’t a surprise. However we’ll bounce back, keep the faith.
Agreed. From the posts I have read so far, no-one seems to have given Harlequins any credit. They did everything right, nothing flash, nothing too experimental. They are doing the basics right and are not in a flase position. They remind me of Catalans last year and look how they did.

Quins were good value for their win, they play good supportive rugby and keep the ball alive. One player we should have kept is Tangles, he had the ability to get the ball out in the tackle on a regular basis or we could have nipped in for Danny Sculthorpe who does the same. Its all well and good signing top props like Vella and Fozzy, but we need some variation and we are not getting it and are becoming predictble.
I have said I will be happy with 6th and I think thats about all we can hope for as I can see several defeats coming up with our squad not been good enough from 1 to 25, we have a very good 1 to 17, but are bolloxed after that when we have players out. When the announce said what the team was I immediately knew we had lost it.
Agree with the mojority of this. Regarding the offloads, we also struggle to defend them. We look terrible in broken play, and attack poorly when we do offload.
I aslo fear our line being broken as we look vulnerable there too. Most of Huddersfield's tries last week were from clean breaks, as were Wigan's when we played them, and we conceed a lot from them. Furthermore, when make a line break ourselves, we don't build on it. When Dobson broke through last night and tried to pass, there was no-one there! It that was Leeds, Webb, Burrows or McGuire would have been under the sticks, similar story when Cooke broke the line (though I appreciate Fitzhenry was carrying an injury).
But my biggest worry is quite simple. We have no Plan B.

Oh, there was. I am sure he saw orange out the corner of his eye and instinctively passed, but it was the referee. Why the hell were we in out away strip and why was the ref in a similar colour, it was madness.
