Tbh I was shocked when I found out there were even that many. Looked on tele no more than 6000, empty golf stand, empty south stand, half-full west stand, full east stand. Considering the attendance figure for the Wire cup game was LOWER with 1000+ travelling supporters, how on earth was the attendance HIGHER for this game with virtually no away fans? Baffling.
The funniest part was when the Hull KR faithful all began to cheer after they thought Gene had smashed Golden (IIRC, maybe Kaye), but for Golden to carry on running and Gene to lay down injured
