Seems Danril is the only Huddersfield poster without a chip on their shoulder on this thread.
We get the largest crowds in Super League and have done for some time. Should we drop our tickets prices to attract a few extra away fans? The economics would suggest no.
I pay dearly for my Season ticket at Headingley but I won't cry about it because it is what it is. On the other hand I got a great deal for me and the family for the game at Huddersfield. But when you're stadium is always half empty as opposed to almost full then those are the things you have to do.
I suspect your record at Headingley is also a factor putting a lot of you off. That's a shame because there's every chance that might change this Sunday and those of you staying away might just miss out on that.
Quote:Every player in our squad could probably earn more money with another club. But they prefer to sacrifice a few extra quid in their back pocket to share special memories. And playing at a place like Old Trafford on a night like this makes it all worthwhile.

Good post and all valid points, now, when other Leeds fans come along moaning/being abusive about our support, can we show then this post to show how its done?
You are right in all those things (I also dislike the atmosphere at Headingly, its very threatening and abusive towards away fans in my experience, and this includes at internationals there too) and so maybe, just maybe its simply not an issue at Leeds how many we take.

I don't find it particularly intimidating TBH, it's one that I quite like apart from the result. I can name a couple of places straight away I find far less friendly than Leeds away.
And I reckon you wont need three guesses to get them!
If London is Athens, Yorkshire is Sparta, a tougher community and proud of it.

I will be at the game, but in the past I have felt uneasy/intimidated by a group of Leeds 'young men' who congregate at the scoreboard end and seem to put lots of effort into being as insulting as possible, either about our team or towards our supporters. No doubt all teams have undesireable followers, but in my experience, at only Leeds and Wakefield do these types deliberately stand with the 'away' fans
