i wasnt going to reply to this as i thought it was the worst attempt at getting a bite ever......... now that ive realised your serious - it concludes you have no knowledge of the game at all.
Running the ball out is a big asset that Briscoe carries - he runs at full speed into the defensive line and makes a huge amount of yards from it - surely this isnt a new part to his game , as we all know he was a great FB at FC aswell.

What a silly and sweeping generalisation. Briscoe left us 2 years ago and some of us still aren't over it. Top full back, top bloke. Our loss, your gain and the worst playing roster decision (of many bad ones) apart from Reardon in the last few years at FC.

I am over Briscoe leaving and still have a lot of respect for the guy, i'm also pleased he's finally got in the England squad, he deserves it, he's strong in nearly every aspect of a full back's game. I was merely pointing out the one area where, in my opinion, he could be better, sorry if i don't agree with people on here that think he's perfect, but there must be some reason why he's been overlooked all these years.

He's no Slater (but then who is?) but I would take his defensive and positioning skills over the ability to make an extra couple of metres running back any day of the week!
WEST COAST PIRATES NRL expansion? Sometime soon, maybe......
