Just wanted to make sure everyone had seen this on the CC website. It should be a great game of RL, and for only £2, it's a bargain. And the money goes to a good cause too, of course.
Hope to see lots of Crusaders fans there.
Hi guys,
Just wanted to make sure everyone had seen this on the CC website. It should be a great game of RL, and for only £2, it's a bargain. And the money goes to a good cause too, of course.

I think everyone was glad it ended as a draw, especially the poor safety steward who bravely stood his ground squished in between a para & a marine exchanging pleasantries just before half-time.
Was a cracking atmosphere & game though; slightly marred, for me, by the ref constantly blowing his whistle. Penalty count 4869-4576.

I didn't think the crowd was too bad, considering the game. The atmosphere was good though & the Marines did well to fight back from 12 - 0 down.
Allez Les Catalans!

I wish all superleague games could have an atmosphere like that. There may not have been thousands there, but each forces lad must count for about 50 normal rugby spectators.
It was a bit far out of the way for most to travel - Taunton attracted a much bigger crowd.
