It does seem likely, i think Barca would be worth showing an interest in Silva too, if Eto'o leaves then Henry will be playing down the middle and thus leaving their left wing empty.
Gutted, i'd have really liked him to join us (Liverpool)

Backdrop of Bill Shankly on stage.
Singer and crowd chanting Munich.
SOS have released ths response:
Spirit of Shankly (SOS) is aware that video footage has been posted on the internet from the SOS End of season party on 24th May 2009. This footage shows an unscheduled performance which the SOS Events Commitee had no prior knowledge of. The Events Committee will endeavour to increase back-stage security for future events to ensure impromptu performances like this do not happen again. We are sincerely sorry for anybody who has been offended by this footage, and we do not condone such behaviour

Could have pulled him off stage as soon as he started chanting it
Wonder if they'd have issued an apology if the video hadn't been put on Youtube.

i agree, some liverpool fans (like their united counterparts) are imbeciles who revel in the respective disasters which have affected both clubs. those concerned would probably scream obscenities if united fans did it about hillsborough......................

"talkSPORT understand that Manchester United striker will be playing his football next year for Manchester City....stayed tuned to talkSPORT"
Good player but overrated IMO. I don't blame United not wanting to spend £25m. He's certainly not worth a fee of £25-30m.
We are apparently also going to be signing Santa Cruz from Blackburn.
I would guess that our front three next year will be:
Tevez
RSC
Robihno
Intelligent and skillful trio. However, that frontline lacks genuine pace. All our pace will probably be on the bench - SWP and Bellamy. We need a centre-foward with a tad more pace.

Barca should let Eto'o walk (as he is being ruled by money) and abandon any Ibrahimovic move and hijack the Real bid for Villa IMO. But I fear the Swedish Bosnian lazybones maybe heading for Barca.
