if you look at the PNG flag i think a rovers badge would make it just what you said, less effect and not simple.
I was thinking of PNG in the top left, and PRIDE in bottom right.
I think he needs it for what hes done for RL in general (bulls, giants, hull, gatehead etc. etc.)
