I don’t justify his wage, who does?

We haven’t had a problem dominating the game, via our props, apart from the Wire game, but every pack as it’s off day. Our problem as been developing our percentage of ball into points, which for the first time we did it against Salford in the first 20, then the usual happened he switched the speed and pressure off, something I‘m sure BN is dealing with behind the scenes. Most games this season we’ve had that sort of possession but not turned it into points, were as if we had a very good SH and FB, we’d have a lot better chance of doing that. Our pack isn’t currently doing anything wrong.

Think if we do sign a prop anyway, we’ll looking at Andy Lynch!

Aussie NRL props, most are living in a little dream world. If you think we’ll sign one of them. Have to wait till next year and offer Fielden’s current wage, if you want one of them, then maybe we’ll have a slight chance.

Not only do we need a Prop we need an enforcer, an aggressive forward. Lynch does not fit the bill.

Unofficially the most boring poster on Cherry and White.

Most bets are on Lynch returning to Castleford.
We still need a prop and a half back which it what IL said before he left for Aus and what he is reported as saying once down under.
Those are our needs and time will tell if those are the positions filled by new signings.

Fielden gets smashed on nearly every drive, he drives with drives with no agression and has no fear factor anymore. He is good in defence. He is an average prop on a wage of two decent props most probably.

Dont get me wrong I would love him to get back to his Bulls form but lets face it, it isnt going to happen. The harsh truth.

We need two props as the Wire game showed.

Were as he said this? If it isn't audio or video, he hasn't said it in the world of sport.

No 26-30 aged Aussie prop would come over here, would you totally risk losing a possble spot in a SofO game or Oz squad spot for a few seasons in SL, were if you don't perform within a month, your being bad named as and 'OLD OVER PAIDED AUSSIE IMPORT'

I think Lynch is the best british prop availiable for next year, i'd like saints to be in for him and possibly O'Meley as well

I think it's fair to say that most of the props weve been linked with maybe arent up to the job

O'meley knees have gone shadow of his former self
Webb probably wouldn't get a visa and again although not past certainly not in good form
Mason cost a bomb, relationship with fielden and again poor form
Lynch certainly more of a hardworker than enforcer and probably Castleford bound

And as for Lenegan going on about trying to to get 23/24yrs old players yet to play origin surely they would think to themselves how do I ever stand a chance of playing origin by going and playing in England for a few years.
In some respects I fear a little what Lenegan has got lined up for us I really hopes its good news and exactly what we need in terms of the front row, sadly at the minute cant see it.

I'm not stating Lynch as I want him. If think he'll be the only prop with have an half decent pop at getting.

Didn't know about O'Meley's knees! If Pollard was after Justin Poore (24 and just debut for NSW) then he has no real chance, he has stated he wants rep footy, and as you say thats not going to happen if he's playing over here
