Totally agree, they outplayed us, how can u have 4 players in a tackle and still they off load the ball, ok once or twice but at times close to our line in the first half it was 3/4 off loads, from basic held, I know the shouts from the seats "man and ball" can peck your head, but its basic, the reason they could or did off load so much was they play as a team, tonight there were several players looking to offload for us but, who was there - nobody, we didnt support any where near as much as York did, we tried a few passes to the wing that timed right would have at least on one occasion got a try, ok it didnt come off, but practice makes perfect.
My main worry (not that anyone gives a jott) several times cassidy ran on to the pitch with water and tried to gather the players to come together, and several times some ran/jogged, a few were keen, some were head in the clouds/planet zog doing there own thing (yer its ok, time out, they're kicking for goal/breather) poor Mick left doing the birdy dance in his yellow t-shirt, we need to get a grip.

It's a damn good job we scored so many points during that time because York seriously out played us.
I don't think we were outplayed at all, yes they did some awesome offloads but except for a few occasions there was no real end result, they scored 18 we scored 44 .
Thanks for a great day out at your place, we left there with our heads held high after a good alround team performance, that at some stages had you a bit worried, but your speed of handling showed in the end.
Good luck in the semi, hope you can sort your problems out off the field.
Thanks for your drummers mum letting me borrow the drum at the end to chant for our lads.
Poor turnout on both sets of fans,, but saying that it was the thomas the tank engine cup and a saturday night to boot.
Best wishes for the future.

Anybody who says we were outplayed when we won 44-18 is talking crap.
At times in the game they looked the better team (quite long spells as well) but over the full 80 mins we were better.
Their offloads were excellent and a lot of them we couldn't have stopped but our defence overall is very poor.

Talking crap am I? I know what I saw and I saw them running the ball far quicker and far harder than we did showing far more enterprise in backing up and getting offloads away in almost every tackle.
If anyone is talking crap it's not me. You can't even make your mind up as to who played better!
On the one had you're saying we weren't out played and in your next sentence you're saying they looked the better team for long spells, yet over 80 minutes we looked better?
How can any team look better over the 80 minutes when you state yourself that they looked better than us for long periods of the game?
Their offloads could quite easily have been stopped if we'd dominated the tackle and covered the ball, just as the way they were able to do that against us!
We were outplayed and largely out enthused for a major part of the game. Were it not for the glimpses of class we know we're capable for the brief spells in each half where we ran up our scores we'd have all been on here bitching about yet another pathetic and unnecessary performance.
Full credit to York. The scoreline flattered us immensely, 44-18 certainly does not tell the full story of the game. 18 of those points were scored in a 10 minute spell where we should have then put the game to bed, but we didn't until very very late on.

I hope Mick seriously starts cracking some heads in that side. There once was a time when all the players 1-13 would have rallied round for a team talk and to lift each other like a shot. You're exactly right in what you say, we do not look or play like a cohesive team that's playing for each other.

Any team that wins 44-18 has not been outplayed! The scorline, especially one that lopsided doesn't lie.
We were the better team for the first 15 mins, for the next 10 mins it was pretty even, then for the next 15 mins they were the better team.
In the second half the first 10-15 mins was even after that we pretty much dominated. So break it down over the whole 80 mins we were the better team but from 15 mins in to 15 mins in the second half they edged it.
To say we were outplayed is outrageous.
We scored 8 tries to York's 3 and you say we were outplayed. Fair enough I bow to your greater knowledge of rugby league.
