Whats so official than the actual turnstile counter! We have this very sophisticated counter in our control room which not only gives out the actual turning of the turnstile but also the percentage as for unreserved seating we can only allow a certain percentage in! This computerised system is then worked with the turnstlie supervisor who checks the counters on every turnstile and then with ticket stubs for that said turnstile! As there were no cas fans anywhere else in the stadium we can rely very heavily on the computer!! Also did you know that there were also some Giants fans in the south stand??

There were nowhere near 2600 in that stand on sunday! And I know that from "official" sources ie seen the turnstile reading and double checked last night just to make sure!

No, but to be fair the poster did say 2.3k 10 MINUTES BEFORE KICK OFF. So 2600 as a figure is plausible. And I'm sure the club officials would not post incorrect figures.

Again I was present behind the south stand for those 10 mins and it was dead no late shows you were all more or less in by that time as that was the message from the reader!!

It is when people are arguing figures. Personally, I couldn't care less. 2.3k or 2.6k it was still a bloody good following, better than most sides would bring. I would be chuffed if we got over 2k again in a few weeks, although can't see it.

If that was really an message that was sent out then they are inflating just as much as the fans! Packed out to me sounds like hardly a seat was available yet they were plenty available!! I hate argueing the fact but the counters don't lie and ateotd you disbuting a couple of hundred! Get over yersen, we admit our support was poor for a CC quarter final but to dispute a few hundred is diabolical!!
