Tackle was made, it was a dirty hit on a player in no position to defend himself and the ref totally ignored it.
and according to kevin brown on monday morning, he won't be playing against hull kr because of it

to be honest with you i didn't see much wrong with it, he hadn't been tackled and was trying to get back to his feet, when wainright came in. if anything i think it was a little high and maybe it should have been called on that.
i do think james evans should have been put in the bin for taking scott moore out off the ball, he knew moore didn't have the ball as whoever did had already been wrapped up, for some reason he was riled up and wanted to do some damage. he cost us quite a few penalties in that 10 minute spell which only made us even more tired with the amount of defending on our line we had to do.
I thought it was a poor challenge; the game's hard enough without lining someone up like that and trying to bend their spine backwards in the name of a 'big hit' while they're on their knees.

I think it's known as a cheap shot but suppose thats only when the Giants are commiting these offences that no other team does.

yep because no player from any other club has ever or will ever produce a cheap shot on one of our players rendering him unfit for the next game - Hodgson must have dived causing a self injury when the Cas player pushed him over
