In hindsight I think he made the right choice
He left for a £125k signing on fee and a salary increase of £50k a year. Don't kid yourself he wanted to leave Hull. He did everything in his power to stay (who do you think leaked it to the media to try and pressurise Hull into meeting his demands?)
