Wonder how many will be going to Wembley?

If you do get there, probably only the 6000 you took to Twickers.

Still, well done all who went, could certainly hear the chanting loud enough :)

Just shows both how bad estimates are and how pointless it is to go on about how many were there from Rovers when there's been a range of between 1000 to 2000 on this thread.

If any of you lot think 6300 was a good crowd, given the fact that your club have slashed ST prices and with a very good away following (I'd like to see Hudds bring so many to Craven Park EVER, never mind the fact that it was a terrible (Friday) night, 70 miles away and on telly) and after you'd just got through to the CC semi, then you're easily satisfied.

BTW, in future, criticise our away following when you can do better. The whole idea has absolutely no point, credibility or substance when you try to put down something that you're not capable of getting anywhere near achieving yourselves.

If you want to bleat about gates take it on the boards of 8 SL clubs with lower average gates (inc HKR). When you have done that then come back here.

If you lot had won the gate would not be mentioned. If its not slef loving Justin Morgan blaming the ref its fans maning about the gates.

You just either don't get the whole thing about your gates being massively inflated by away support or you are just continuing to ignore it. Pointless.

another deluded fan jumping on the support band wagon when they lose to us..

think you will find we are 5th on the average gates at the moment :P

Well, there you have it Brothers and Sisters, we haven't nearly as many fans as Leeds or Saints (or Cas or HKR for that matter). So we best tell the lads don't bother training for the Challenge Cup, or GF because the fans from other clubs laugh at our attendance figures and we don't want that, so we think it best if we don't go. It doesn't seem to occur to them that if we actually won something, on TV as well, more fans might be tempted to come and watch us, increasing our poor attendace figures (thanks to the merger/4 years at bottom of SL). And I was so looking forward to Wembley. OK, Halliwell Jones for now.

So we have average gates higher than 8 other Sl teams because of away fans? If I agreed with such a baseless point it must mean we are better at attracting visiting fans than most cubs. As walk up brings in more money than ST aren't we a clever lot! :D

The acid test will be what the take-up is for ST next season... can the powers afford to discount yet again to progress? 8)
