I backed Duncan but whilst it was only beaten a length by the winner in finishing fourth, I didn't feel that there was a hard luck story involved. I honestly never had the feeling inside the last couple of furlongs that I was on the winner.

Just looked up the Sporting Life take on it too ... held up in 6th, 6th straight, headway into 4th and driven 2f out, stayed on and went 3rd inside final furlong, held when not much room near finish
