HKR must be gutted after their golden point defeat to Warrington last Saturday but have a day more to get over their exertions than Huddersfield who bombed chance after chance against Castleford and therefore made hard work of defeating the Tigers.

Wish it wasn't televised then I could ignore it as a betting medium.

Couldn't make my mind up so went for Over 36.5 total match points - looks possible with 24 first half points.

Also done Saints -10.

Im sat on Kite Wood at 50s for The Derby tomorrow having backed it antepost last year. Just glad its made it to the race after taing some antepost hits this year already. Happy if it sneaks a place now.

Duncan came fourth today and was unlucky in running, The Miniver Rose was outpaced at the top of the straight but stayed on well in fifth.

Anyone who took the 20's about Summer Bird should be sitting pretty now, top price of 16's and I expect it to be 12's or 14's top price by race time Saturday night.

The Joker® wrote:Should have gone with the gut instinct, I was in Profit during the Live Betting but lumped on Netherlands Under 125.5 Runs... :(
Netherlands win by 4 Wickets after needing 2 runs from the last ball from Stuart Broad the shot goes for one but Broad overthrows and they take the win...

But betting like that is the way to the poor house. England could have made 300 and lost one wicket and the bet could have been a loser. Betting odds on you need to be pretty sure where you stand, hoping an opener will not snick an edge to the keeper early on has nothing do do with form, averages or anything, its not pure chance as quality shone through today but I hope he will not hold it against me as it was never a good value bet even though it won.

Fourth Round Draw & Order of Play - 1pm Saturday
Board One
Peter Manley v Mark Webster
Andy Hamilton v Raymond van Barneveld
Phil Taylor v Ken Mather
Mark Walsh v Adrian Lewis

Board Two
Colin Osborne v Wayne Jones
Jamie Caven v Jelle Klaasen
Kevin McDine v Alan Tabern
Andy Jenkins v Terry Jenkins

Board Three
Michael Barnard v Andy Smith
Dennis Priestley v Mark Frost
Steve Grubb v Kevin Painter
Wes Newton v Roland Scholten

Board Four
Gary Welding v Ronnie Baxter
Alex Roy v Andy Roberts
Colin Lloyd v Chris Thompson
Mark Lawrence v Mark Dudbridge

Well chuffed that Manley has drawn Webster as very winable infact he will be a firm favourite I suspect. Seemed to win the crowd over tonight and will have the bulk of the support tomorrow I think.

Caven getting Klassen looks a good draw because although its tough it is winnable and the sort of game he has to win if he wants to turn his potential into being a real quality player. Glad its not on the main stage as that should favour Caven more.

Welding has it tough but as a 1500/1 shot you are not going to get many easy draws.
