If all of this proves to be true and these big targets don't sign and you end up signing mediocre ones then I would agree with you. However I would wait and see what happens first, none of these alledged signings have gone elsewhere yet apart from Barry.
Ronaldo off to real for £75m and if he doesn't Real have to pay him £26m.
Rooney is demanding a central attacking role next season as he is fed up of playing wide left, can't say I blame him.

Garbage PL players like Distin and Tuncay aren't good enough, there's a reason players like Tuncay sign for sides like 'Boro on a free, Distin signing for Pompey on a free - they're sh'it and not good enough for the top sides.
