Alternatively, we set our trust up with the intentions of running the club. It isnt easy, but when faced with a choice of club and hard work or no club whatsoever. the choice was easy.

Feel free to give us a shout. either myself or Cliff Spracklen would come and talk to you guys.

Don't dismiss the trust idea. It would give you guys the create some stability, and the club could never be sold for pirvate gain again.

An interesting quote from the article above ....

'The people of Doncaster have failed to support their club, and it is easy to see why when the marketing budget is perhaps scant due to the stringent measures put in place by the Dons to ensure they are financially stable'.

Another interesting quote from the article above-
Reportedly, they are approximately over £80,000 into the red, a figure which has seen their entire squad on the cusp of being sold.

SOLD!!!!--If only a fee had been involved in any of the transfers

There certainly needs to be something set up--but i would have thought best to leave till after the Administration is sorted out.

Any ideas for Fundraising will i'm sure be welcomed by all fans of the club.

And quotes of gates lower than expected, they said they were budgeting on 700 at the beginning of the season and most of the sensible fans knows that we have beat that number on quite a few occasions this year, so how many freebies have been given, or what was the true figure that they budgeted for?

How as the debt gone from £40000 to around £80000, i know some of the players were on contracts from last year but a lot are on playing terms only.
we must have saved in the region of £40000 - £50000 from Bauer, Green, Handforth, Briggs and Haley going, who i presume were contracted players.

Rugbyman has retired. Welcome to Another Penalty

Perhaps I did not word it correctly. :x You should be entitled to some sort of fee, surely, though?

it will never happen but i for 1 would like to see the budget and see where all the money budgetted for has gone! ive said it before someone or some people have seriously done wrong at our club AGAIN and i know fans from other clubs are saying nice things on here but people of doncaster are either vexed off or laughing at us!
