All I ask is for Barrow who get bigger crowds than most National League sides and if ya didn't notice are sitting second in the league after just being promoted, get a bit of recognition for the hardwork thats been done at Craven Park.
You are getting bigger crowds partly because you are not on TV
The thursday night games dont pull the crowds in as many home fans decide to stay in the pub and getting up to barrow for a 7.30 kick off would be difficult even for Haven fans
Also the sky set up team have to be able to get to the friday SL match in enough time to get set up again
They generally follow the SL match sticking to whatever area that match is to be played
If say Saints or Wigan are on on Friday night they will feature a Lancashire match on the thursday
If say Hull or HKR are on on a friday they will go to Fev,Donny or Sheffield on the thursday
Unfortunatley [ or fortunatley depending on how you look at it ] you being somewhat out in the sticks [ relatively speaking ] will affect the times you are on SKY
Personally I dont think the thursday Championship TV deal is working , it costs the club gate revenue and I dont think any clubs are making much if any extra profits from sponsorship because of it
I would have said a Monday night highlights programme featuring a match from each division would be better for our competition and the clubs in it
