Andy Gilder wrote:Not a lot he can do, to be honest.

They took a gamble on running light in the first stint to get the super softs out of the way, which meant he lost whatever track position he managed to gain with the early pit stop.

After that he was doomed to spending most of the race staring at someone else's gearbox.

That McLaren truly does look a dog to drive at the minute, and is going to be even worse in the high speed corners of Turkey and Silverstone.

As they mentioned, I couldn't understand the logic in a light first stint and the super softs. He was already at the back of the grid, so why not start from the pit lane and brim the fuel trink?

Apart from that, I actually think he's really proving himself this year. The car is so obviously a bad one, yet he's still managing points finishes every couple of races, is totally out performing his team-mate and the in car footage proves how hard he's being forced to work to get the thing around the track.

Grid and weights.

Lewis has plenty of fuel, must be a nil stop strategy.

you have probably hit the nail on the head there mate - they are missing dennis' expertise

looks like vettel's slightly lighter car got him the poll. still fancy brawn for this one maybe not a one two but definately a win - reckon they will out smart the red bulls - toyota could go well here too

Button. Webber. Vettel. A bit processional.

6 wins out of 7 for Button, after 1 in 150.

Hamilton a spectator again. The McClaren must be an absolute dog.
