Enjoyed the podcast but shame the drop goal was missed off

You cant argue with his enthusiasm and energy, he has both in abundance.

I honestly thought this season would see a more mature player channeling that enthusiasm and energy to good use. His off field issues have vastly changed my opinion of him. If he cant curtail these things off the pitch i cant see him doing it on it....

The incident happened well before this season so I'm not sure how relevant that is too what you are saying.
I think we have seen a more mature Ben Cockayne since we first brought him in. His aggresion and enthusiasm are his top qualities.

Where did i argue any different?

In my opinion his performances prior to his "incident" were still penalty ridden and juvenile at times.

Ben has cleaned up his act on the field a lot.
It is clear to see he is much more level headed these days and a much better player for it.

He may give the odd penalty away but I think losing this fire would detract from his game a lot.

Read several comments so i will say this. If a player FC or KR or anywhere assaults someone like that they should be banmned for life!!! i dont care who it is or the reasons behind it. At the end of the day they are supposed to set an example so if Motu Tony or G Horne did it i would call for them to go so dont spout off at me for saying what was on the tv and radio. Plus isnt it Giro day for you lot anyway or something??
