No, only seemed to play when we had injuries!

Shame really I thought he was starting to put some good performances in and mixing it up with opposistion forwards which in NL is what you need!

Hope he learns well of McDermott and comes back strong! A better player then Pickersgill & Kavanagh anyway!

I don't like being negative on individual players, but to be honset, he looks nowhere near a Championship player, let alone SL. Good luck to him, but he won't be missed.

Because he's no good.

Little Pepe went to nursery school one day wearing his Widnes hat. His teacher asked him why he was a Widnes fan. He said, “Because my parents are.” His teacher said, “That’s not good. What would you do if your parents were drug dealers and hookers?” He replied, “Well then I would be a Warrington fan.”

There's a Wooly over there, baggy kecks and feathered hair
with a 3 star jumper half way up his back, that’s a fecking Wooly back!

Oooh-to… Oooh-to-be… Oooh-to-be-a… WOOLY!

He's nowehere near Kavanagh's level and id take a half fit Pickersgill before him too.

His spell here has been a disaster. I expected more from someone with a couple of SL bench appearances and somebody who at his age has managed to stay around the SL reserves for so long.

Did he ever manage a spell of more than 10 minutes ?

A couple of strong first carries then he would go hiding and next time you notice him is for his powder-puff defence.

He made more impact in '10mins' then Kavanagh has done all year and Picks has played 10 mins in two games, conceeded two pens, made no yards but yea ok!

Can't agree with you there J20. I reckon Kavanagh is far more talented.

You're having a laugh, Right?

Don't get me wrong I'm not too fussed about Kavanagh either, but he's miles better than Thompson.

I've got a feeling he'll be coming straight back after his month loan. :(

I rate Kavanagh and think he has some great attributes, he can be a little hit and fall at times but he's 10 times the player Thompson is.

Love a brew.

Fingers crossed somebody fancies taking him because the Mac gave him a two year deal and it really would be galling to have to pay him up to get shut.

I can see how people like 'J20' might like Thompson because his inital impact is generally quite good for his first drive at least.

He is just so poor defensively though and even in this squad one of the most lazy players.

All in all as I said before a disaster signing.
