Yes, but there is now a level salary cap in SL. The problem Salford have is that we can't afford to spend up to it. If we had more money we have space under the cap to spend a few hundred thousand pounds more on players.

If we are to loose Turner and Myler I will become seriously dissolutioned with the whole idea of the franchice and the clubs ambition to be a big club.

Offiah is doing pretty what most agents do - it's just the fact that he's higher profile than other agents that we hear more about it. I've not seen a story on it but if he has literally been quoted as saying that they want a "king's ransom" then he's more of a tw@ than I already thought he was - completely unprofessional thing to say.

Hopefully he realises that Myler is contracted to us for another year, and will still then be young enough for Salford to be able to demand a kings ransom for anyone else to sign him from us.

Just a thought but when Robbie Pauls contract expires at the end of this season (I think) shouldn't there be a healthy wedge left in the salary account? Why not use that towards keeping the young lads?
