Phelps, Carmont, Roberts, Smith, Riddell, Fielden, Feka, Bailey, Joel Tomkins, and Coley are all players who play on a regular basis who are not internationals of which many have never even been selected for international duty.
Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. It shouldnt exactly be difficult for him with the squad Wigan have compared to the squad that Salford do. If Tomkins was in the Salford squad and playing as he has the last few times I have seen him then he wouldnt even be getting selected. Talk about overhyped.
LMAO!!! Two tries at the willows, MOM last week. England Call up. But obv thats not good enough
RICHARDS IS SUPERMAN!!!!

We can't really talk about hype with Myler in our team - he's had far more of it than Tomkins. I'm not completely sold on Tomkins but I've only seen him play a few times - he's definitely better than Myler defensively though. Myler however has carried this team at times and when we were getting killed week in week out at the beginning of the season he still managed to show flashes of brilliance in a team that was not performing - it's more difficult with Tomkins in that he's arguably surrounded by more talent. Still, it's great that they're both getting given a chance to play and maybe we'll even see them on the field at the same time for a sneak peek at what could possibly be England's future 6 and 7 combination.
Does this have to turn into a debate about who is the better player between two players who play in different positions? IMO we should just be glad that two talented young lads from our clubs are getting a shot and that Tony Smith isn't simply relying on tried and failed players. Well done Richie and Sam.

Thought Luke Adamson might have got a shout at Second Row if Tony Smith was to be believed about picking the IN FORM players, don't really think Westwood is performing better than Luke at the moment, or is it more a case of "who you know, not what you know"
Keep Playing The Young Talent. They Need To Gain Experience Now. These Lads Are SALFORD'S FUTURE. Bring on the BARTON
