Valdes is terrible, and if he was playing for a lower team he'd be shown up for it, he shouldn't be anywhere near the Spain squad!

It was no surprise Barca were in for Asenjo.

The only keeper to have conceded less than a goal a game this season. He's had one of his best seasons and to say that on performances alone López deserves a call up more than him his comical.

For all their trophies, I still think Valdes is a flapper. Not as error-prone as he used to be but IMO Del Bosque perfectly justified in leaving him out.
