TBH....I wouldn't have expected to tell him anything less. You've got to try and motivate your players.

Thorman is playing very poorly, but if he wants to win another contract elsewhere, he's got to start improving.

He won't be here next season

100% agree, there's still a season to be finished this year which is by no means done.

Us real fans don't look over our shoulder at our neighbours and do whatever we can to get one over on them. We look at the bigger picture. And this is the reason why Rovers are and will forever be considered a small club. Because their fans and board would rather get one over on Hull FC above anything else.

Quite sad, really!

SPOT ON!

Yeah point taken mind no matter how much the "coach" tries to motivate him will make no diff when he fooks up his 1st kick n crowd are on his back!

The only way to get the crowd off your back is to silence them with a good performance. Remember Carvell getting roundly booed last season after he announced he wanted to go. Turned it on its head by the end of the 1st half IIRC.

Saying that Carvel is good, and Thorman's not, so chances of it happening are fairly low

I am more worried about his attacking options and his defence. The quality of his kicking is often dictated by the field position the pack have given him and the quality of ball he gets on the sixth tackle in kicking situations. When he gets reasonable field position and reasonable protection his kicking is usually sound.

Door open for Thorman

Unfortunately it isn't just to leave and say nothing more about it.

Worst bit is this:

Agar said "The door is still very much open for Chris because I'll tell everyone now we do want to carry another pivotal type of player within our squad"

that is very much the word, CARRY!

Hopefully it's the exit door.
